Seeding Points

Riders ranked 1-20 in combined regular-season points (Supercross + Pro Motocross) enter the playoffs with a points advantage:

Playoff Format (3 Events)

• Playoff 1: Standard Points

  Regular point structure applies

• Playoff 2: Double Points (2x)

  All points earned are doubled

• Final: Triple Points (3x)

  All points earned are tripled

Olympic-Style Scoring

Similar to Supercross Triple Crown, SMX uses Olympic-style scoring where the lowest score wins:

1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 3 points, etc.

Additional Rules

• Two-moto format for both 450 and 250 divisions
• Riders outside top 20 start playoffs with zero points
• Tie-breaker: Best finish in the final race wins
